Why your students would benefit

Auckland SPCA's education service teaches compassion and responsible behaviour towards animals as well as to humans and the environment we all share.

It helps children recognise that all creatures matter, not just those we regard as cute, friendly or economically beneficial.

It encourages children to realise that humans do not own the planet, but share it with other animals. It leads them from a restricted human-centred view of the world towards one that includes empathy and respect for all life.

Find answers to some of the more frequently asked children's questions about the SPCA.
